I was looking for something that was durable and comfortable. The idea that the sock would reduce heat in the shoe and on the foot also was a benefit. And made local I had nothing to lose.
So far after several sessions, these are very comfortable, reinforced in the important areas, good feel to the ground, and reduced hot spots on the toes and ball of foot. As far as temp in shoe, couldn't say for sure. But I would say they don't feel any warmer then other socks. Definitely enjoying them!
Although I haven’t worn it on super hot surfaces, the product felt great in my cleats.
